This classification of transport proteins was incorporated from the Transporter Classification (TC) System. Not all families will be displayed since the classification has transporters in all kingdoms including plants. The following page will display the complete list and individual members from Arabidopsis and Yeast with corresponding phylogenetic trees and average hydropathy plots for the families. Descriptions of families were taken from The Transporter Classification Database (tcdb.ucsd.edu).
